Nerve – Jeanne Ryan ✶✶✶✶✶

A high-stakes online game of dares turns deadly
When Vee is picked to be a player in NERVE, an anonymous game of dares broadcast live online, she discovers that the game knows her. They tempt her with prizes taken from her ThisIsMe page and team her up with the perfect boy, sizzling-hot Ian. At first it’s exhilarating–Vee and Ian’s fans cheer them on to riskier dares with higher stakes. But the game takes a twisted turn when they’re directed to a secret location with five other players for the Grand Prize round. Suddenly they’re playing all or nothing, with their lives on the line. Just how far will Vee go before she loses NERVE?

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a copy of this book! Like a true bookworm I have to read the book before I watch the film and I was impressed. I loved it. If the film is anything like the book then I know I will already love it. I was hooked. Brilliant. Nerve is easy to read, fast paced, contains short chapters and is written well. Not a game I would personally play! I would highly recommend this story to you all. I’m sad that I’ve finished it. A book you will not want to put down and now I can finally watch the film.. YAY.

Nerve is perfect for readers who enjoy a brilliant young adult, suspense, chick-lit, thriller and adapted to film story. Another great book I have read this year which I will not forget. Enjoy, I did.
