Blurb:
Forensic psychologist, Declan Wells, is dealing with the aftermath of a car bomb during the Troubles in Belfast, which has left him in a wheelchair. But that is only the start of his problems.
Welsh Detective, Anna Cole is running away from a dead-end relationship and the guilt of her mother’s death. She hopes secondment to the Police Service of Northern Ireland will provide a distraction.
There is a killer on the streets targeting young women and leaving behind macabre mementoes to taunt the police.
Can Declan and Anna work together to catch the deranged killer before he strikes again?
And is it ever possible to leave the past behind you?
My Review:
WOW. What a gripping start this book has, it will literally pull you in within the first few chapters and have you hooked. Great first impressions and impressed with how quickly it can grab a reader. I loved all the characters especially Anna and Declan, but despised the killer like always. Little Bird is written well, easy to read and contains short chapters. I must say you cannot tell this is a debut by Sharon as it is brilliantly told and put together. I would highly recommend this story to you all if you haven’t read it already. I awarded a well deserved five stars and I look forward to reading more by Sharon in the future.
