I See You – Clare Mackintosh ★★★★

Blurb; When Zoe Walker sees her photo in the classifieds section of a London newspaper, she is determined to find out why it’s there. There’s no explanation: just a grainy image, a website address and a phone number. She takes it home to her family, who are convinced it’s just someone who looks like Zoe. But the next day the advert shows a photo of a different woman, and another the day after that.

Is it a mistake? A coincidence? Or is someone keeping track of every move they make . . .

My Review; After devouring I Let You Go by Clare previously I had to read this one. But I must admit I do still prefer I Let You Go over this story. I See You took me a while to get into and it took a while to get to the good bit. It is one of those stories which makes you go ahh that’s why it is called that!

I See You is written well, easy to read and contains a well thought out storyline with a shocker of an ending to look forward too. A very creepy story which will have you thinking and looking over your shoulder when you’re out and about. I enjoyed reading this as a good weekend read and awarded four stars out of five. I will be reading more by Clare in the future but this book didn’t grab me as much as I Let You Go did. I would highly recommend I See You if you haven’t read it already and I look forward to future books by Clare.
