My Review; I found this one a bit of a slow burner at first, very secretive throughout. Keeps the reader turning the pages to find out what the big secret is about Pilars past. It does pick up drastically towards the end and the outcome is a jaw dropper. Unexpected. Sneaky. Twisted. Clever.
I found it an easy read with short chapters. Enjoyed reading this one. I did have my eye on Theo throughout suspecting him as a dodgy one… hmm. Kept me suspecting everyone in this story even Pilar herself. Trust noone. Lots of spooky, creepy incidents occuring throughout. I did feel sorry for poor Flo’s character and her mother.
I awarded a well deserved four stars. Highly recommend.
