Blurb; Ellie’s dreams of opening a bakery in Sunnybrook are coming true and best friends Fen and Jaz are happily rallying round, helping her to plan a fabulous grand opening day. Everything in their garden seems to be rosy – until the arrival of a newcomer brings chaos to the village and tests relationships to the limit. Can the bakery succeed in the face of such upheaval? And more importantly, can firm friendships survive?
My Review; Ooops… So it seems I came into this series a little bit late as this is book five… Ot Oh. However, it did read perfectly fine as a standalone.
I absolutely loved this. Perfect town, characters, friendships and a little bit of romance. It is a beautifully written story. I throughally enjoyed it. It was like a little holiday for my mind. Being a short story it was lovely to sit and devour it. It’s one of those books you feel welcomed and part of the community, special.
I loved all the characters even Maddison towards the end, at first she did get on my nerves a little but she seemed to changed. The ending was utterly perfect! I was beside each of the characters and was with them through all their own choas and upset. I look forward to the next book in this series and going back to where it all began in book one. A well deserved four stars from me, highly recommend.
