My Review; This was one off my library pile and was a breathe of fresh air to read! Different. Refreshing. Perfect for young adult fans. It is a short read at just over 200 pages but a brilliant read. Well written. It was a nominee for the Costa book awards and it deserved it.
The story follows a young boy Davie on an adventure, a wander. Where will it take him? What will he see? Who will he bump into? There’s a stabbing in the town but it’s not as it seems. You see life through davies eyes throughout his days adventure. I loved reading this one. An easy read that can be read in one setting. I love the cover too.
A well deserved four stars. Highly recommend.
