My Review; I was kindly given a copy of this by a fellow blogger and I absolutely loved it. It was an easy, fast paced read. Short chapters. Brilliant debute which had me hooked. Perfect for YA and thriller readers. Brilliantly written. I won’t be able to forget this one.
The story follows Jess who is determined to catch her mothers killer and stop more deaths from happening. But how far is too far? Will she make it? With the help of an online streaming programme she is part of she could reach out to millions. It’s tense, edge of your seat reading. Parts are terrifying for what she has to face and put up with. But will she push the killer too far? Taunting him…
No matter who I suspected the magpie man (killer) to be I just didn’t get it right at all.. Shocking outcome. The ending just hots up and had me holding my breathe throughout. Heart pounding. Jess is a very determined and brave girl. But will she get the ending she wants?
A well deserved five stars from me. Highly recommend. I think this will end up in my top twenty reads of the year too. It was so good. Really enjoyed it. I cannot recommend this book enough. I read it all in one day.
