Blurb; Trouble is haunting Cassidy Blake . . . even more than usual.
She (plus her ghost best friend, Jacob, of course) are in Paris, where Cass’s parents are filming their TV show about the world’s most haunted cities. Sure, it’s fun eating croissants and seeing the Eiffel Tower, but there’s true ghostly danger lurking beneath Paris, in the creepy underground Catacombs.
When Cass accidentally awakens a frighteningly strong spirit, she must rely on her still-growing skills as a ghosthunter — and turn to friends both old and new to help her unravel a mystery. But time is running out, and the spirit is only growing stronger.
And if Cass fails, the force she’s unleashed could haunt the city forever.
My Review; This is book two and I would recommend you read City of Ghosts first as it refers to the previous book and sets it up and explains perfectly for you to understand book two. After reading City of Ghosts (book one), I couldn’t wait to dive into this one. Yet again it was amazing! Another easy read I enjoyed.
However, in this book it gets more dark, more riskier and more deadly. Cassidy is forced to face a poltergeist (a strong spirit), but in order to help him pass to the other side she must find out about the boy, his story and his death. This puts herself and her family at the risk of accidents, death and scary situations. Will she succeed?
With Jacob by her side and never far from her parents filming their show in paris Cassidy has to find the chance to end it all for good. Tense. Gripping. Page turner of a read. Perfect for young adult readers who love a ghost story. A well deserved five stars from me. Highly recommend.
