My Review; This is a perfect YA story. An easy, fast paced read. One I really enjoyed. It kept me guessing right until the end. A twist and outcome I could never have guessed or seen coming. Brilliantly written, full of suspense. A real mystery.
Poor Carey has been set up and it just gets worse and worse as we go along… Noone believes her, even her own mother. The police are on to her but she decides she has had enough and decides to run away which makes her look even more guilty. Oops. Plenty of times throughout this I kept saying to myself if only she did this instead of that etc. I really felt sorry for her. Especially as it’s all aimed towards her bestfriend which she would never do… Right?
Gripping. A page turner of a read. Really enjoyed it. A well deserved four stars from me. Highly recommend.
