My Review; This is the first book I have read by this author and I think I’ve found another author to add to my pile. What a beautiful written story. Pure escapism, a break for my mind while I’m stuck in lockdown. Beautiful setting. Friendly community and characters. Chocolate. Cheese. Skiing. Snow and some romance. It all adds up to make a brilliant read. One to cosy up with.
I loved all the characters but Luke oh wow. What a man eh. I wouldn’t mind a look at him. The main character Lexi is off on an last minute adventure to her god mothers in the alps after a shaky start to the story. One trip away that may change her life in more way than one. I loved it all! A happy ending for all. Intact I’d love to read more about these characters as a what happened next?
Perfection for me. However, personally the chapters were a little long for my personal liking I prefer them short but it didn’t put me off devouring this story. A well deserved four stars from me. Highly recommend.
