There’s Someone Inside Your House – Stephanie Perkins ★★★★

Blurb; After a mysterious move from Hawaii to a new school in small town Nebraska, Makani Young and the rest of her class are being targeted by a masked killer intent on exposing their darkest secrets.

As one by one the students of her new high school begin to die in a series of gruesome murders, Makani doesn’t know who’s next on the list . . . and her own secrets from the past to keep. Between this and her scorching relationship with the school misfit, this school year may turn out to be one to die for . . . literally.

My Review; This was another buddy read with Mel from Melanie’s read. We thought we would read it before it hit Netflix so we could compare. Mel did just that… I haven’t watched it on Netflix yet so I cannot compare. But it was a brilliant read. A certain part actually made my stomach turn. Ewww, so it is quite descriptive in parts. Dark. Deadly. Thrilling. Suspense. MURDERS.

For me it was the ending which hugely let me down for this book. Very sudden ending. Could have been made miles better or a different ending. So a little disappointed there. Check out Mels review for her comparison to the Netflix adaption she wasn’t pleased. Due to the ending I awarded four stars instead of five.
