Psychopaths Anonymous – Will Carver ★★★★★

Blurb; Maeve has everything. A high-powered job, a beautiful home, a string of uncomplicated one-night encounters. She’s also an addict: A functioning alcoholic with a dependence on sex and an insatiable appetite for killing men.

When she can’t find a support group to share her obsession, she creates her own. And Psychopaths Anonymous is born. Friends of Maeve.

Now in a serious relationship, Maeve wants to keep the group a secret. But not everyone in the group adheres to the rules, and when a reckless member raises suspicions with the police, Maeve’s drinking spirals out of control.

She needs to stop killing. She needs to close the group.

But Maeve can’t seem to quit the things that are bad for her, including her new man…

My Review; Huge fan of Will’s previous books so I knew what I was getting myself into. But I had to grab this one quick due to Melanie’s Reads review. Absolutely brilliant review and a brilliant read. I wasn’t disappointed at all. Its amazing. Highly recommend. A must read. I devoured this.

But warning… It is extremely dark, brutal, murder, death, descriptive and contains alot of sex. All part of being a psycho woman I suppose. It is not a light read and does include alot of alcohol and AA meetings. I was turning the pages for fun from the first page to the last I was hooked. Will she ever stop killing? Probably not. Will she be caught? Unlikely. Very smart woman.

One I won’t forget for a long time. One that’s going into my top ten reads of the year. A well deserved five stars from me.
