My Review; Perfect for any slime fans. Easy, fast paced read at just under 150 pages. Connie is the queen of slime and after making her own which comes to life and starts to turn to evil and ruin her friendships she doesn’t know what to do or how to stop this slime monster she created named Big. Full of imagination. Different. Who will win the slime or Connie? A well deserved four stars from me.
Isadora Moon Gets the Magic Pox – Harriet Muncaster ★★★★

My Review; I have reviewed a few of these in the past and although this is book fifteen in the series all will read well as standalones. All easy, light and fast paced reads with beautiful illustrations throughout perfect any young little girl to read and enjoy. Isadora has a maths test coming up, the worst kind… Times tables. She asks for help through her cousin in how to skip the test and the answer is obvious… Magic pox ofcourse, but it soon all goes wrong and the lie soon becomes apparant when pox are all over the house and garden. Can Isadora fix her mistake? Overcome this maths test? Wrong her rights? A well deserved four stars from me.

My Review; Again this is from a series I have previously reviewed before and this is book nine in the series but each reads fine as a standalone. This book is short, easy reading and beautifully illustrated throughout with some very bright colours included. Kitty is the main character in the whole series and at night is a super hero. In this adventure she brings along a few of her friends and always find something to do or someone to save. This time it’s a woodland wild cat who has lost her kittens and a storm is approaching… Will Kitty and her friends be able to find the Kittens before it’s too late? A well deserved four stars from me. Perfect for any little readers. An adventure.

My Review; This one is for the older readers and just under 200 pages long. A tale of adventure, uncovered truths and pure genius inventions. Bound to set your imagination on fire with all these wierd and wacky food inventions, machines and gadgets. Leonora has only ever known the island she has lived on with her uncle and live in nanny, she was told her parents were lost at sea, presumed dead. However, when a boy finds himself stranded on her island after drifting away from the mainland Leonora wants answer, everything she has ever known was a lie and her uncle is an evil villian who has been lying to her and using her inventions as his own. Can Leonora find out the truth about her parents? Can she defeat her evil uncle? She is one strong, determined little girl. An adventure. A mystery. A well deserved four stars from me.

My Review; This is one for the boys. Dinosaurs. Super hero. Villian. Wow. Marv is off on a school trip to the museum but a villian soon emerges and would you believe it? He makes all the dinosaurs come alive for real. Who can save them? Marv ofcourse turns super hero trying to catch the villian and stop the dinosaurs. Can he do it without his classmates suspecting it is him? Can he save the day? Easy, fast and short read with beautiful illustrations throughout. A book for all the little boys out there and one which represents a different minority of readers. I enjoyed this one. A well deserved four stars from me. Marv to the rescue.
