My Review; Series 29. Book one. Tom is no longer in the game. He’s been poisoned. Enter four new heroes who are on a mission to save Tom. But in order to save him, they must each defeat their first beast and complete their first quest. In this story, we meet Rafe, and he has to defeat the beast Kalderon. It is a rollercoaster of a read as this beast is impossible to defeat. Just when you think he’s down, he gets back up. Can Rafe prove he’s good enough? Save his town? Save Tom? This is part 1 of 4. A gripping read. A well-deserved four stars from me.
