*BLOG BLITZ* Death on the Coast ★★★★

Blurb; Can DCI Dan Hellier decipher the twisted mind behind the ritualised burning of homeless men on Devon’s beaches before more people are sacrificed?

When images from the burning appear all over social media, Hellier realises that he is dealing with a cult and a mystery that will leads back to the Irish Troubles.

Hellier will battle a bitter man who has plotted revenge for more than twenty years, without a care for the lives he will destroy.

My Review; OMG. I loved it. When I said this series was getting better and better I meant it. This was a bloody brilliant read. I devoured it. I was very fascinated with the whole cults subject within the book. I havent read many books which include cults and I was hooked.

Death on the Coast reads well as a standalone but does make some references to the previous books but with no spoilers. I would highly recommend this series, I’ve loved every book!!! Well written, gripping and fast paced. A well deserved four stars.

A brilliant team. Brilliant stories. One I will remember for a long time. Dark, Gripping. It will have the reader intrigued just after reading the first chapter alone.

*Blog Blitz* Death on Dartmoor – Bernie Steadman ★★★★

Blurb; Life is good for DI Dan Hellier until the discovery of two headless, handless bodies buried in a bog on Dartmoor. But how can he identify the victims when nobody has reported them missing?

The tension mounts when the death of a young man plunges Hellier into the murky world of the Garrett family. Could the peaceful, family-run Animal Rescue Centre really be a cover for murder and other criminal activity?

Hellier is about to learn just how far people will go to get what they want.

And this investigation will challenge Hellier’s decisions as he races to catch another murderer before it’s too late.

My Review; Happy Publication Day! This is book number two in the west country crime mystery series. Better read in order like all series’s but does read okay as a standalone with a few references to the previous book.

This series is just getting better and better. I loved this one more than the first. Good to be back with the team and familiar characters. I was hooked from the start until the end. A real page turner that I lost myself in.

Brilliantly written and fast paced! I cannot wait for book three already… Highly recommend this series so far! One to keep your eye on. A well deserved four stars from me.
