*BLOG BLITZ* Cargo – J.C. Macek III ★★★★★

Blurb; Over the years Anthony Peterson has amassed a fortune, numerous properties, a trophy wife and a reputation for ruthless business dealings. He is a man who is used to getting his own way.

But when Peterson wakes to find himself locked in a metal shipping container, with only a cell phone and twenty-four hours of air left, he begins to unravel.
Desperate to escape, Peterson soon learns that there is more to the container than he first realised. And when the kidnappers call and demand ten million dollars, while threatening to murder and rape his beautiful wife if he doesn’t comply, Peterson must fight to meet their impossible terms or face being left to die alone in the darkness.
Why has Peterson been targeted?
Who are those responsible for his kidnap?
And can Peterson make out of the container alive?

My Review; First impressions were good, I loved the cover. Cargo does have parts within that are a bit brutal and dark for my liking but thats what makes a great thriller. I really enjoyed reading this story and how its twists towards the end was brilliant… A fast paced story. One of a kind with a cliffhanger of an ending. A cleverly written story with suspense throughout. A well deserved five stars from myself and I would highly recommend it to you all. I didn’t want to put it down, could easily have read it in one setting. Clever story. Will have you on edge throughout.

Anthony has just 24 hours to do as requested by his kidnappers, can he make it? Who would you trust with your life?

*BLOG BLITZ* Finding Myself – Victoria. J. Brown ★★★★★

Blurb; Kat’s life has become a blur of dirty nappies and sleepless nights. She has moved into the flat above the salon she owns, alone and without Max the father of her children.

To make matters worse, Max has revealed he plans to remarry. Constantly on edge, her babies are taking up all of her time and Max is never around to help.

Diagnosed with post-natal depression, Kat feels more alone than ever.

Will Kat be able to manage alone? Can she find hope and rebuild her life?

My Review; Finding Myself is book number three in the Chaos series and I would recommend you read the other two books before this one as they all connect.

Book 1 is Holding Myself. Book 2 is Losing Myself and Book 3 is Finding Myself. A brilliant series I would highly recommend you all read. All three books have received five stars from myself.

Finding Myself is a brilliant final story to the series with a light at the end of the tunnel for Kat. As a mother myself I felt I could relate to parts of what Kat felt too as I’m sure many other mothers who read this will too. The story is written well, easy to read and highlights just how strong and tough Kats character really is but also how great friends and family can be to help you through all the tough times.

A brilliant ending to the series. I enjoyed reading all three of these books. A very uplifting, enlightning and hope filled series perfect for readers who enjoy the chick-lit, romance and drama genres. A well deserved five stars from me.

*BLOG TOUR* Losing Myself – Victoria Brown ★★★★★

Since Kat made her decision, everything around her seems to be falling apart. Not only is she dealing with family’s secrets, lies and deceit but the salon, which is opening around the corner, threatens her livelihood.

To make matters worse her relationship with Max is on the rocks. Although her relationships with Max’s mother, her step-mother and her sister have grown stronger, are they strong enough?

Working tirelessly to save her salon and save her relationship with Max, she is battling everyday to stay focused on her future. But what will the future bring?

My Review:

Losing myself is book number two in the chaos series and follows on from Holding Myself, I would recommend you read them in order. It was lovely to read another genre amid all the thriller and mystery books lately, very refreshing. It was nice to get back into a familiar town and see familiar characters again.

I must admit Kat faces A LOT throughout this story more than anyone should have to face especially being a pregnant woman. Kat is a very strong, inspirational character but she won’t give up easily.

Losing myself is an emotional (in parts) and uplifting story for readers to enjoy. It is written well, easy to read and will have you imerged until the end. Beautiful story. I have awarded another five stars for the book as I enjoyed reading this one. I would highly recommend this series to you all if you havent read it already and yet again another gorgeous cover!

I cannot wait to dive into book three Finding Myself and see what lies ahead for Kat and her family.
