Can you really tell the difference between madness and sanity?
Mark Randall goes to great lengths to get himself admitted to an acute psychiatric ward and, despite being mute, convinces professionals that he is psychotic. But who is he and why is he so keen to spend time in a psychiatric hospital?
When Mark is admitted, silent and naked, the staff are suspicious about his motives.
Dealing with this, as well as the patients on the ward, Mark’s troubles really begin once he is Sectioned under the Mental Health Act. When decisions about his future are handed to Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr Giles Sharman, Mark’s life goes from bad to worse.
Drugged, abused and in danger, Mark looks for a way out of this nightmare. But he’s about to learn, proving that you are sane might not be easy as it sounds…
I absolutely love stories that focus on psychiatric wards and ‘patients’, I find the whole subject of being sane/insane very interesting and love stories like this. The title for this book suits the story perfectly and the cover is perfect too.
A Justified Madness is easy to read, fast paced and a belter of a story which will have you hooked ans unable to put the book down. I would highly recommend this story to you all and I award a well deserved five stars. I think this story would also make a brilliant film! Brilliant. Enjoyed reading this one.
Pre-teen girls are being abducted from their homes and their families murdered. When Frank Rogers, once a DI with the Met and now running his own debt collection agency, is told that his own daughter is missing, his son murdered, he naturally wants to become involved with the case.
Soon Frank’s face is all over the news. In an unexpected turn of events, the killer contacts the police and says he is willing to talk, but only to Frank.
When the body of the first abducted girl is discovered, Frank realises it is a race against time to save his daughter.
In order to solve the case, Frank must work out how the killer is picking his victims.
But how do you catch a murderer who is hiding in plain sight? And can Frank unravel the mystery, when he has so much to lose?
I love the cover of Degrees of Darkness. Can I also mention how many 5 star and 4 stars this book has received so far and I am going to add to that by giving my own five star review!
Degrees of Darkness will have you hooked from the beginning and on the edge of your seat until the end of the story. It’s one of those books you don’t want to finish but at the same time you do, cannot win. This story is well written, easy to read and a one of a kind story. I enjoyed reading this story and would highly recommend this story to you all if you haven’t read it already.
I have high expectations for future stories by Tony after reading this one and look forward to reading more by this author in the future. A well deserved five stars from me. Gripping story with plenty of turns to keep the reader engaged throughout.
Annabel is desperate to have a baby – there’s just one problem. She’s single and after losing her husband in a hit and run accident, she’s just not ready for another relationship.
Dan is on the hunt for the perfect woman but when his mother drops a bombshell, he starts to feel the pressure.
When Dan and Annabel’s worlds collide, both start to think that maybe they’ve found the solution to their problems. But things are about to get messy.
Can Dan and Annabel get what they want?
Both will soon find out that the trouble with words is finding the right thing to say.
I found this story very refreshing from reading everyday thrillers and crime, was a nice surprise. The Trouble with Words is written well, easy to read and contains short chapters. This story will have you laughing throughout, it is a feel good, chick-lit and romantic read which is perfect for summer 2017. Do you believe in fate? I do, I believe Dan and Annabel were meant to meet! With both Dan and Annabel having their own individual worries and troubles will they be able to come together to work it all out for a perfect ending? That is for you to find out when you dive into this story! I would highly recommend this story to you all and awarded a well deserved five stars. I won’t forget this story in a hurry. Make this your summer 2017 read! Suzie Tullett is an upcoming author to keep your eye on.
