Sea Keepers: Seal Pup Party – Coral Ripley ★★★★

Blurb; A bumper-length seasonal special set at the Ice Palace Animal Sanctuary! Join the Sea Keepers as they celebrate Christmas in the Arctic with adorable seal pups.

The Sea Keepers return to the North Pole, where the Arctic mermaids have organised a Christmas party for the seal pups at the Ice Palace Animal Sanctuary. But when Effluvia turns up to spoil the fun, it’s up to the Sea Keepers to stop her! Can Emily, Grace and Layla find a magic pearl in time to save the celebration?

My Review; This is book ten in a series, but all can be read as standalones. In this story, it’s Christmas Eve, and the girls are called to help under the sea. It’s a Christmas story. A save the day. After the star gets broken, the girls need to find three things to build a new star to save the Arctic. With the help of many animals along the way, they can surely save the day before Christmas, can’t they? Time is tight. They even get a visit from Santa themselves. A brilliant Christmas adventure, many young readers will enjoy with illustrations throughout. A well-deserved four stars from me.

Sea Keepers: Starfish Sleepover – Coral Ripley ★★★★

Blurb; Surprise! You are invited to a mermaid sleepover party at the palace! A magical series about saving our oceans for readers aged 6+.

The Sea Keepers are invited by Queen Adrianna to stay overnight at the palace for Princess Marina’s surprise birthday party. Emily, Grace and Layla have never been to a mermaid sleepover, and are worried about what gift to bring. But when Effluvia crashes the party and threatens to spoil the surprise, Emily, Grace and Layla know that they need to give their mermaid friend the only birthday gift that really matters – a magic pearl that can save Atlantis from evil Effluvia! They won’t sleep a wink until they find it!

My Review; I am really enjoying this series. One that is perfect for any little girl to enjoy with beautiful illustrations throughout. Meet the sea keepers a trio of human girls who get called on a mission to help out in underwater sea missions. To find pearls to save the day, to stop evil and save others. It’s a very magical story and world. In this story, they’ve been invited to an underwater birthday sleepover, but evil tried to disrupt it all. Can they save the day? Cute little read at just over 120 pages. A well-deserved four stars from me.

Sea Keepers: The Missing Manatee – Coral Ripley ★★★★

Blurb; Sea Keepers to the rescue – a baby manatee needs their help! A magical series about saving our oceans.

Emily, Grace and Layla travel to the tropics to search for a magic pearl. But disaster strikes when evil Effluvia kidnaps a baby manatee and holds it for ransom. Effluvia demands a magic pearl in exchange for the little manatee. If the Sea Keepers give into the wicked siren, they won’t be able to stop her from releasing her siren sisters . . .

It’s up to the Sea Keepers to save the manatee – and the whole underwater world!

My Review; Sea Keepers – This is book nine in the sea keepers series, the first book I have read in this series. It does mention previous books before this one in beginning but it still reads fine as a Standalone. In this story we see three main characters Layla, Emily and Grace become mermaids also known as the sea keepers, there to protect and help all sea creatures and life under water. They soon find themselves having to help a young Manatee from the evil mermaid within the sea Effluvia who wants the magical pearl. The girls search for the magical pearl in order to save the young manatee but surely they won’t hand it over to her? Surely they can find another way to save this manatee. Beautiful black and white illustrations throughout. A magical, mermaid and underwater adventure with talking animals any little girl would love. Highly recommend. A well deserved four stars.
