*BLOG TOUR* A Wedding at Wynter House – Emily Harvale ★★★★

Blurb; Not everyone at Wynter House is thrilled about this wedding.
Secrets have been revealed and new relationships begun. Now it’s time to look to the future. Neva and Rafe are in love and so are Adam and Hazel. Jo’s love life leaves a lot to be desired, although Gavin could remedy that.
But Rafe’s grandmother, Olivia still hopes that something will tear Rafe and Neva apart. Hazel’s new assignment means nursing someone back to health … and there’s history between them. And Jo’s receiving texts from her ex-fiancé.
Then Rafe’s first wife, Pippa – the woman who broke his heart, unexpectedly arrives. And she’s even more beautiful and irresistible than Rafe remembers.
When everyone is looking to the future, will the past prove to be too strong?
There will be a wedding at Wynter House … but who will be the bride and groom?

My Review; This is book three in the Wyntersleap series and interlinks with her merriment bay series. I’ve come into the series a bit late, so I wasn’t familiar with the characters or the town. I did however find it was okay as a standalone.

This story has it all. A dead body is found… Old flames. New romances. Exs. Adventure. New beginnings. Weddings and some engagements. Plenty of celebrations. It’s a shortish read and one I really enjoyed. I love the little town, the community and Wynter house. A perfect read with the best ending of all.

I will have to go back and read the previous books of this to see what happened before and link it all together. This is a light, easy read and it was just what I needed. A well deserved four stars from me.

*BLOG TOUR* Secret Wishes & Summer Kisses on Lilypond Lane – Emily Harvale ★★★★

Blurb; Everyone’s got a secret wish in Little Pondale this summer.

Mia’s been exceptionally lucky since moving to Lily Pond Lane. But even on her honeymoon with the man of her dreams, she still has one remaining wish.

Ella wishes Gill would propose. But since Mia’s wedding something’s changed in their relationship. Now he’s spending time with newcomer, Tabbie Talbaine, Ella wishes Tabbie will leave as quickly as she arrived.

Tabbie wishes she hadn’t driven her car into a pond. But it could be the best thing that’s ever happened to her. When she discovers Hollywood heartthrob, Justin Lake’s staying in the village, getting an interview for her popular blog isn’t her only wish.

Bree was told she couldn’t have a baby. Now she’s expecting twins and is simply wishing it all goes well.

And as for Hettie … she wishes she could get her hands on an old map of the village. Because there’s something hidden in Little Pondale that Hettie Turner really wants to find.

This is the final book in the Lily Pond Lane series.

My Review; NOOOOO! This is really the end people. We had a false alarm last time but not this time… Least I can go back to the beginning as I came into this series late oops. Each of these have read well as standalones…

We have a newbie in the village… Tabbie. Her little opening scene did make me laugh out loud and she seems to be causing quite a stir in this little village. We get to see a lot more from other characters in this story as Mia’s on her honeymoon which sounds divine, but life still goes on without the pair in Lilypond Lane.

Another brilliant story which I yet again devoured in just over an hour. I am sad to be saying goodbye to this little town and these characters. Cute, cosey and perfect. A well deserved four stars. Highly recommend… It’s been a pleasure reading these stories.

*BLOG TOUR* A wedding on Lily Pond Lane – Emily Harvale ★★★★

Blurb; The Angel Bell is ringing for Mia and Jet’s Big Day – but will the Wedding of the Year go without a hitch?

Every bride wants the perfect wedding and Mia Ward is no exception. But she is the only bride in Little Pondale and everyone in the village has ideas for her Big Day. Drowning in suggestions, Mia needs some help.

When she bumps into childhood friend, Breanna Wright on a shopping trip to London, Mia’s convinced it’s Fate. Breanna’s only ambition was to be a wedding planner with her own business, The Wright Wedding … so Mia doesn’t hesitate.

Breanna’s now got three months to plan a wedding where the sky’s the limit, budget-wise. She should be over the moon. Especially as she’ll get a chance to see old friends again, including her first love. There’s just one tiny hitch … Breanna doesn’t have a wedding-planning business.

She should tell Mia there has been a slight mistake, but as usual Breanna’s life isn’t running smoothly and she could really use a break. And when you’ve dreamt about planning weddings all your life, how difficult can it be?

Will this be the chance Breanna’s longed for? Or will Mia’s Dream Wedding be Breanna’s biggest disaster yet?

My Review; This is the last book in the series! NOOOOO. I came into this series a bit late but will definately be going back to read the first books as soon as possible, did read perfectly fine as a standalone though. Short, snappy and packed with a lot of love, friendship and celebration. Heart warming. Uplifting. Parts had me laughing out loud.

The perfect ending to this series. Brilliantly written, an easy read. All the characters feel like friends and family, the town is cute and welcoming. I absolutely loved it. Highly recommend. A well deserved four stars.
