My Review; The opening to this story had me hooked I needed to know what was going on, why etc.. Now this was a different read for me not something I read regularly. I read this as a Standalone I did not read the previous book and it worked well for me but maybe I did miss something? I will never know unless I go back and read the first book.
Within this story are alot of troubled, struggling and mentally ill characters but it’s written in a way that you care for them. I found I had to concentrate while reading this story or I would miss something important. Does include a miscarriage. It’s a twisty, turny book. Kept me on edge. Never knew what was going to happen next. It did get a little confusing and dark towards the end. But it’s a brilliant story and I enjoyed it all. The author has written this story cleverly and brilliantly! Instead of chapters it is told through each of the characters. Highly recommend. A well deserved four stars from me.
