Fantastic Beasts; The Crimes of Grindelwald – J.K. Rowling ★★★★★

Blurb; At the end of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured in New York with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escapes custody and sets about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists Newt, his former Hogwarts student, who agrees to help once again, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

This second original screenplay from J.K. Rowling, illustrated with stunning line art from MinaLima, expands on earlier events that helped shaped the wizarding world, with some surprising nods to the Harry Potter stories that will delight fans of both the books and films.

My Review; The second instalment of Fantastic Beasts. Another brilliant, easy read. These books are so beautiful with the design layout and how the story is told in the play format. I felt this book had much more in it than the first and can’t wait to compare it to the film already.

Since I was a little girl I have always loved J.K. Rowling, the magic and the books. This didn’t let me down either and I am eagerly awaiting the final installment of Fantastic Beasts. I was lost into the wizarding world yet again. A story that can easily be devoured in one sitting. I absolutely love Newt, his crazy creatures and his adventures. Magical.

A book most have probably read already! But if not definately one to get or add to your list. Loved it. Highly recommend! A well deserved five stars.

Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them – J.K. Rowling. ✶✶✶✶✶

When Magizoologist Newt Scamander arrives in New York, he intends his stay to be just a brief stopover. However, when his magical case is misplaced and some of Newt’s fantastic beasts escape, it spells trouble for everyone…

My Review:
So I FINALLY got this book for Christmas and WOW! I loved it. I can now go and watch the film (book before film BBF). I found it easy to read (finished it in a day) and didn’t want it to end! Brilliant. Never been let down by anything written by JK Rowling. A must read for all Harry Potter fans. It will be over before you know it! The perfect Christmas read for me this year. Savour it. Enjoy, I did.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – J.K Rowling, John Tiffany & Jack Thorne ✶✶✶✶✶

So EVERYONE must have heard about Harry Potter and this book! I will be very shocked if you haven’t. I managed to read this book in less than 24 hours, which I am very impressed with! I have always been a MASSIVE Harry Potter fan and like many others had to have this book. At first I didn’t think I would enjoy it as it written in a play format (due to it being a play), but surprisingly I REALLY ENJOY IT. This is the first book I have read in this format and its brilliant. I was hooked straight away and throughout. I found it easy to read and honestly I would highly recommend you go buy it yourself if you haven’t already, or you will miss out. Obviously I wanted more but Harry Potter will always live on for me and I hope that I will be able to pass the magic onto my daughter when she is older.

This book focuses on the older versions of Ron, Hermione, Draco, Ginny and of course Harry and all their child. But what trouble will they find themselves in this time? Go on this is the long awaited book not to be missed… Easily one of the best books I have read this year so far. Enjoy.
