Will Lee be able to unlock the past and bring justice to the future?

My Review; Happy Publication day! Wow, where do I start there is just something about Mark’s books that is unique and makes outstanding, thrilling reads including this one… Stories to get excited about and look forward too. Very impressed. A well deserved five stars.

I managed to read this full story in a day! I literally devoured it. Loved it. However, Finch’s character WOW. He has to be one of the most hated character’s that I have ever read about, he made my blood boil and really got me angry! What a vile character. Parts of this story can be very dark and brutal, just a little warning for those sensitive readers.

I must admit at first I was a little confused about the plot like woah what is going on here? But then it all made sense and I was impressed by the cleverly written plot. I would highly recommend this book to you all. It was a brilliant read!

And why is DI Carver so eager to make him suffer?

My Review:
WOW! I’m going to start by saying what a fab cover, I love it! This story will drag you straight in from the first chapter alone. The Abattoir of Dreams is mysterious, written well, fast paced and cleverly written. I managed to read this story in less than 48 hours, I loved it and enjoyed this one. It is one of those stories that I won’t forget in a hurry. I absolutely hated DI Carver from the beginning (GRR) what an evil character and poor Michael I felt for him throughout his story.

The Abattoir of Dreams does contain dark and disturbing chapters so you’ve been warned! This book will mess with your head, what is real and what is not?

This story does touch on subjects I don’t normally read as they are personal and sensitive areas (domestic violence, rape and child abuse) but, the author has only touched on these subjects throughout the story  and has included them into the story well. It does not focus on these subjects in depth. I understand that some readers may not like reading this story due to these areas included but the author has been very mature about these subjects and has written a brilliant story.

This is the first story I have read by Mark and it will not be the last, I highly recommend this story to you all. You will not want to put it down, a well deserved five stars from me. Bloody brilliant. Enjoy.
