School’s Out Forever – James Patterson ★★★★

Blurb; In this eagerly awaited follow-up, brave bird-kid Max and her flock are discovered by an FBI agent and forced to go to “school.” There is no such thing as an ordinary day as Max deciphers how and when she’s supposed to save the world, and she faces her greatest enemy–a clone of herself.

My Review; Book two in the brilliant Maximum Ride series. I am still invested and absolutely loving this series. YA/Fantasy. I find them such easy reads. I love them. I enjoy them. I get so lost into their world and lives. It’s just such a different read for me at the moment.

In this story we see plenty more fights against flying enemies this time, so they’ve upped their game since book one. Plenty of escapes, death dodges and uncomfortable positions. Its tense and fast paced. The flock in book two are determined to find their birth families but are soon sent back to normal school or so they thought… dun dun dun.. Another cliffhanger so I cannot wait to see what happens for the flock in book three. They’re all such a lovely flock/family. I would highly recommend this series and book. A well deserved four stars from me again.

Max is still very much the leader/mother of the flock and she is brilliant when she comes up against a perfect enemy clone of herself but will the flock believe her?
