My Review; This is book 13 in the little duck pond cafe series but this reads perfectly fine as a standalone. I love this series but I have missed a couple before this book which I will have to catch up on, I can’t keep up! But I do recall Carrie slightly from the last book I did read. Anyway…
This is different from all the previous books. Why? Because for one check out that beautiful cover change huh? Gorgeous and eye catching and two because this story isn’t set in the usual town of the previous books. This story is set in a new town Silverbells. Perfect name right? Very festive. The story focuses on Carrie who just wants a break from life and men and that is what she decides to do. Off to Silverbells. However, she soon finds herself with an unexpected housemate while away… Ronan. Dun dun dun…
A beautiful new town. Very festive. Descriptive. Cosy. New friendships. New life. Families reunited and new starts. Another welcoming town with its characters. Homely. I’d like to read more about this town! Oh and if you’re asking I’m team Ronan all the way. A happy ending for all. Beautifully written. Uplifting and full of love and warmth. Highly recommend. It’s a short read at just under 200 pages. A well deserved four stars from me.
